Relationship framework

In the case of collaborative projects, company-UV collaboration agreement, in accordance with art. 15 bis.2 of Royal Decree 99/2011, of 28 January, which regulates official doctoral studies.

Non-academic business environment eligibility Industrial or service companies included in the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE 2009), provided that the doctoral thesis is linked to a R+D+i project developed by the company.
Eligible costs Salary cost of the contracted person (maximum €4,500/month), consultancy and technical assistance (up to €14,000/year), tuition fees for the PhD student (up to €1,000/year), training activities and conferences (up to €10,000/year) and supporting audit report (up to €1,400/year).
Funding

Up to 50 % of the eligible costs for SMEs and up to 30 % for large enterprises. Within these limits, the aid may be increased by up to 5% when the person hired is a woman, in order to alleviate the existing gender gap in scientific-technical research.

Duration of the aid Maximum 3 budget years between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2026.
