Aims: The aim of the doctoral programme is to provide a solid training in Optometry and Vision Sciences covering base scientific aspects and aspects with a bigger component of scientific or technological application. The training objectives of this programme include the different fields of Optometry and Vision Sciences: Optometry, Contactology, Ocular Surface, Physiological Optics, Vision Psychophysics, Ocular Methodology, Ophthalmic Optics and Instrumentation for Vision Sciences. The doctoral studies shall guarantee the acquisition of the basic competences established in the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education.

Description: This doctoral programme provides a solid and advanced training in Optometry and Vision Sciences, both with regard to scientific knowledge of a high level and clinical and technological applications.
