GREENVERSITY is a three-year project dedicated to integrating the European Green Competence Framework (GreenComp) into higher education. Our mission is to empower universities, educators and students with the essential skills and knowledge to lead sustainable transformations in society. By developing a structured framework to implement the GreenComp with training programmes and engaging student initiatives, GREENVERSITY aims to make green skills a core part of higher education across Europe.
The GREENVERSITY project leverages the GreenComp framework to strategically foster sustainability competences in higher education. By aligning with GreenComp, we:
- Standardise our approach: Ensuring consistent and comprehensive educational materials across diverse institutions and disciplines.
- Enhance learning outcomes: Equipping students with essential skills and knowledge to address environmental challenges.
- Support EU sustainability goals: Contributing to the EU's green transition by embedding sustainability into education.
- Prepare future leaders: Fostering not only knowledge, but also the attitudes and values necessary for driving systemic change.
